Vans recruits its new Vice President of Marketing Europe at Lenovo
Since the departure in July of Jérémy de Maillard for the position of Vice President of Marketing EMEA at The North Face, the Vans marketing teams had been awaiting their new Europe boss.
To fill this position, VF, parent company of the American brand, ventured beyond the fashion borders. And it thus came upon Neil Schambra Stevens, naming him new Vice President of Marketing at Vans for the Europe Middle East and Africa zone. Until recently he was still a manager at Lenovo, the Chinese giant of new technologies. He had been the Director of Global Brand & Content Creation since July 2013.
In the past, he was notably a consultant for different lifestyle brands, working for Onitsuka Tiger in 2011. He also worked at Converse from 2007 to the beginning of 2011 as Director of Brand Development for Europe.
He reports to Jan Van Leeuwen, General Manager of Vans EMEA.
