Donatella Versace and British architect Jamie Fobert teamed to design the Versace concept store in Chicago. With a 460 sq. meters footprint, the space is a blend of traditional Italian architecture and Versace’s bright, modern energy.

"I just adore the design concept of the new Versace Stores, which pays tribute to Italy's cultural heritage. In fulfilling this project Jamie Fobert has created a space in which the new Versace spirit can take flight. For me the boutique suggests an uninterrupted dialogue between our past and our future, between me and Jamie Fobert and obviously between Versace and our clients," said Donatella Versace on the Chicago store.
The concept store features 9th Century Byzantine-inspired mosaic floors greeted by persepex walls and kinetic shelves that seem to follow the flow of the walls. The store is located at 933 North Rush Street Chicago, IL 60611.
Versace, founded in 1978 by Gianni Versace, is a leading luxury fashion brand. Donatella Versace stepped in to oversee the company when Gianni Versace passed away in 1997. The company has continued to evolve with the leadership of Donatella Versace.
