VF Corp recruits executive from Boxfresh

Mark Underwood switches from streetwear to sportswear. The former international sales director for British brand Boxfresh, where he has been since 2007, has moved over to the huge apparel company, VF Corporation.

He also spent seven years at Fred Perry, as reported in the British press. He has been named managing director of VF Corporation's Licensed Sports Group for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He takes over from Gary Sheppherd, who left in early 2012 due to health reasons. Executive Search firm, Fusion Associates, facilitated his appointment.

Mark Underwood will be managing licenses with many American professional sports championships for entities such as the National Football League (NFL) and the National Hockey League (NHL) and will also be involved with Major League Baseball (MLB) through VF's Majestic Athletic brand.
