Visvim opens first ever WMV flagship in New Mexico

Visvim on Saturday opened its first ever WMV flagship store at 222 Shelby Street in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Founded by Hiroki Nakamura in 2001, Visvim offers men’s apparel that boast traditional production techniques and modern technology. The Japanese menswear label is inspired by global travel and cultures, including the Finnish Sami tribe, the Amish, the Japanese Edo period, and in particular, vintage American textiles and Native American clothing.

Visvim’s more popular pieces, such as the FBT sneaker, draw inspiration from Native American clothing and cultures.

WMV is Visvim's womenswear label, and serves as a sister line to the brand's namesake collection.

The American West is a fitting home for the first Visvim store, considering the brand’s connection with the region. The new flagship store will carry WMV and Visvim collections, as well as exclusive release items and a special antique collection by Nakamura.
