Visvim opens pop up at 180 in New York City

Visvim continues its retail expansion with the opening of a pop up shop at 180 on 180 Duane Street in New York City.
 

180 is a fitting home for Visvim, given that the co-founder of the retailer and installation space is Williamson PR founder Denise Williamson, who represents Visvim. The space opened at the beginning of the year, and features a showroom on the main floor and a retail and event space on the second floor.
 
The Visvim pop up, which opened on September 13 with a private party, references the label’s F.I.L. (Free International Laboratory) flagship, with minimal interior design elements and vintage Western American rugs. The label’s popular footwear is located by the entrance, each displayed on individual white stands, and the ready-to-wear hangs on white metal racks and rotating display cubes.

Prior to opening this pop up, Visvim opened its first-ever flagship store in New Mexico that carries its women’s and men’s collections, as well as special antiques designed by founder Hiroki Nakamura.
