Zadig & Voltaire to launch new fragrances in September

On 1 September Zadig & Voltaire will launch its new fragrances, 'This Is Her' and 'This Is Him', created with Beauté Prestige International (BPI). In 2014, the ready-to-wear label signed a 15-year licence agreement with the fragrance and beauty manufacturer for the creation, production and worldwide distribution of Zadig & Voltaire perfumes.

The masculine fragrance was conceived by perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Aurélien Guichard, fragrance designers at Firmenich, its main notes being incense, black pepper and a hint of vanilla. In the feminine version, perfumers Sidonie Lancesseur and Michel Almairac de Robertet let jasmine, pink pepper and chestnut cream do the talking.

As for the bottle, the rather classic bottle is black for the men's fragrance and white for the women's, while Zadig & Voltaire's rock vibe is evident in the cracked look of the bottle's sides.

For the first time in the case of its fragrances, Zadig & Voltaire will appear on TV, with a film featuring young models Joséphine Le Tutour and Sam Lammar partying in Paris, to a soundtrack by The Avener.

In the summer of 2017 Zadig & Voltaire will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The fashion label took to fragrances in 2009 by launching an internally developed, unisex fragrance called 'Tome 1'. The brand subsequently entered into a licensing agreement with Clarins Fragrance Group. Its existing fragrances will continue to be available at the label's stores. The new perfumes will reach the shops on 1st September, and will also be sold via a larger network, including selected perfumeries.
