Handbag brand Save My Bag, created in Italy in 2013, will open 20 stores in China from 2016, plus a first mono-brand store in Rome, and distribution agreements have been signed for the US, HK, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The retailer reported sales struggles in the third quarter due to a slowdown of international customers. Lundgren, the company Chairman and CEO, shared plans to turn business around as early as this fall.
The husband-wife duo previewed the spring 2016 collection of their new shoe and handbag brand. The collection will be available at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's and a retail store slated to open early next year.
