The Kering-owned menswear brand has revealed its campaign for Spring/Summer 2020. Entitled “Tailoring Legends,” the campaign features brand ambassador Brad Pitt and celebrates the label’s 75th anniversary.
On the first day of Pitti Uomo, the city of Florence awarded its highest distinction, the Fiorino d’Oro (golden florin), to the boss of Kering, in recognition of the French luxury group's investments in Tuscany.
The flags chosen as the theme of the Florentine menswear show, which opens on Tuesday, symbolise the diverse, international range of exhibitors of this winter session, featuring major names and special events.
Kering has named another CEO for Brioni; the fourth boss of the famed, yet troubled, Italian tailor in just five years. Though noted for exceptional quality Brioni has fired as many designers as CEOs in the same period.
The Italian luxury menswear label's perfume line will be launched in Q4 2020 and will be distributed through Lalique’s retail network, with a focus on Brioni’s key markets, among them the USA, Russia, Europe and Japan.
