Fashion Scout, the international showcase for fashion pioneers, has announced the four winners of the Ones to Watch Award for London Fashion Week SS20. They are Gala Borovic, IA London, Studio Adaptive Skins and AV.
One would be forgiven for considering this weekend’s London Fashion Week as the Last Fashion Show, as the industry braces for the very real risk of a Brexit no deal and the likelihood of a slow but sure front-row exit.
Aucarre, Nous Etudions and Price on Request have been announced as the three winners of Ones to Watch Award, and will be presenting their collections in a dedicated catwalk show during London Fashion Week in September.
The international showcase has announced I-am-chen, a Hong Kong based knitwear brand, as the winner of the SS19 Merit Award. The brand will receive a fully sponsored catwalk show during London Fashion Week in September.
It was all about elegant modesty at the Fashion Forward Dubai, where shows by local designers provided insight into local modes, mores and moods. Albeit leavened with international creators at FFWD, which ended Sunday.
Fashion Scout has been invited to nominate two brands from over 30 European countries for the International Woolmark Prize. The showcase will be accepting nominations for consideration until 22 January.
