Lee Cooper has unveiled a collection of premium-priced selvedge denim built around its heritage as a London brand. Called the Cooper Collection, after founder Morris Cooper, it has a pop-up shop and music collaboration.
Neil Cole has left the group he founded in 2005. In 10 years, he built a worldwide giant specialised in brands under licence. He's replaced by Peter Cuneo, who becomes Board Chairman and CEO ad interim.
The American group (Umbro, Lee Cooper, Peanuts, Material Girl) specialised in licenses saw its revenue increase 7% in its 2014 financial year compared to 2013, amounting to $461m. Its EBITDA stabilised at $264m.
