Aston Martin has deepened its fashion sector links with two big names joining its board. Net-A-Porter founder Natalie Massenet and ex-Harrods and Saks 5th Avenue exec Marigay McKee are among its new directors.
The B2B e-commerce platform has announced that it has raised $45 million in a funding round led by Brighton Park Capital and Imaginary Ventures, the venture capital fund co-founded by Net-A-Porter’s Natalie Massenet.
The ethical fashion retailer has announced that the Net-a-Porter founder has joined its board of directors, while Nike vet Sophie Bambuck has been appointed as the company’s first chief marketing officer.
The panel, which includes the likes of Carine Roitfeld, Elie Saab, Naomi Campbell, Pierpaolo Piccioli, and Yoon Ahn, will assemble in Doha, Qatar to choose five winners from five womenswear categories.
