Menswear trend : Break-out of prints (with itws)

Prints are invited to travel this season through desires of evasion evoked through floral, exotic or graphic patterns... the kaleidoscopic print at rick owens makes a statement and adds character to sportswear pieces. checks as little touches or as a total look equally mix with stripes but let's however avoid an overdose. more exotic, the tribal motif has the most beautiful effect since it's associated with a chic wardrobe. at missoni, jacquard evokes asian travel souvenirs. kenzo retraces its steps, with its main source of inspiration : the world of the jungle. the camouflage print seems to have a battle feel. the designers renew it by creating a more urban and graphic version. at dolce & gabbana, garments become a real postcard. a complete change of scenery ! shirts or t-shirts are easily lent to exercise and display exotic or artistic references. the garment becomes a true work of art and doesn't hesitate to make an apology to the artist... and at westwood, manet's picnic brings back some fantasies. very present in the women's wardrobe, flowers also inundate the masculine catwalks. colourful and stylish, bucolic motifs carry a touch of freshness, which will never leave summer. music free of right / bandit & nikit - 2012 interview humberto leon : it was a really important message for us to bring it back to that original of the brand. angela missoni : this time there’s a somewhat south east asia influence, in patterns that you can find on drawings, jacquards, or even on embroidered shoes, which always bring back memories. vivienne westwood : the picnic was just a working idea and i thought that that was very good because we could recycle some of my old prints. we recycled the grass stain when you sit on the grass or have sex on the grass or whatever, and also the wine stain and i was just thinking i might go and wet the t-shirts with the wine on them because… christopher bailey : i love the bloomsbury set with vanessa bell and duncan grant. so i love this beautiful hand painted, very crafted prints italo zucchelli : i introduced this very strong pattern, that californian inspired burst almost, very graphic but very summery. dries van noten : i really wanted to look at camouflage in a different way, in a graphic design way, so removing the hard edge and making it very soft, very beautiful.
