Designer: Elie SaabInspiration: Paris in the roaring twenties, its heroines (from Joséphine Baker to Mistinguett) and their elegance. Collection: ethereal dress in silk muslin, tulle, lace or gazar, often backless or shoulder revealing emphasized by feathers found on the base of the dresses or the hems of sleeves. The embroidery, always sublime, falls in cascades on the length of sheath dresses transforming into art deco motifs. Short cuts are very present with a play on length at the front, several models end in a train. To note: the jewelry and accessories such as the 20s headdresses or the glasses with a pearl chains that fall onto the shoulders.Interview :Petra Nemkova : Elie Saab shows are always incredible, he takes you on a journey to dreamland and today of course, inspired by the twenties and the fun elements of the twenties, the incredible fashion, beautiful bags, lots of tassels, with a bit of feathering, it was beautiful I mean, he’s a master. Sara Sampaio : I think it’s his best collection ever, I mean I couldn’t stop taking photos, I want everything. I would wear everything is just so beautiful. I have a lot of favourites but I even thought that the wedding dresses were so stunning, I was like “oh I definitely want that”.
