access_time 00:01:18

The season of menswear collections for spring/summer 2019 has begun with london fashion week, which took place over three days. as always, the english had audacity, energy and originality. even italian label iceberg opened the festivities with colourful silhouettes and ending the show in the street. in terms of on-trend designers, edward crutchley showcases recycling whilst christopher raeburn re-dressed his models in covering parkas. outerwear was found at the conceptual a-cold-wall by samuel ross, a finalist for the 2018 lvmh prize. another finalist was charles jeffrey loverboy who showed on the final day of this london fashion week, a rising star, who offers a beautiful parallel between eccentricity and savoir-faire.(interview )finally, a little extra: the presence of david beckham, who was made ambassador for the british fashion council… interview of charles jeffrey loverboy:i would say that it has an auto-biographical aesthetic, it’s very much based on my own artwork, and steeped in lgbtq+ culture, the name loverboy comes from a club night that i started back in london which was just a kind of fun, mad place where we made lots of work and we took the brand forward and decided to make clothing from there. music royalty free bandit & nikit 2018
