Christian Dada: Mens' & Women's show Spring / Summer 2019 (with interview)

Designer: Christian DadaInspiration: In the courtyard of the Condorcet High School in Paris, accompanied by a pianist, the Japanese designer presented a mixed collection with prints and photos from a collaboration with the artist Nobuyoshi Araki.Collection: With colours beige, grey and blue, the designer presented a collection, structured around tailoring, which he redefined according to his personal codes: shorter sleeves, above the wrists, jackets that become coats, long shirts, with sharp edges and open collars. Note: The printed photos from Araki, appear in the form of framework, or covering a large part of the clothes such as silk dresses or loose-fitting trousers. Interview of Christian Dada: I collaborated with Nobuyoshi Araki, everyone calls him Araki, who is a famous photographer in Japan, and he published these books in the nineties after his wife’s death and maybe you can see, I wanted to translate the sentimental world into clothes.I like the tailoring too, and did you notice, I wanted to add this dusty side on fabrics,I was trying to say something like time is passing through textiles , like they are from the nineties.
