Viktor & Rolf- Show Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2018/19 in Paris

access_time 00:01:44

Designers: viktor horsting & rolf snoereninspiration: the dutch duo chose the theatre, le trianon, in paris to show a collection that celebrates their 25 years of design from when the designers were discovered at the festival de mode de hyères in 1993.collection: 25 creations that have shaped their career, uniquely designed in white tones, enhanced with swarovski crystals. a way to open a sort of fashion history, where blouses with multiple bows give way to a pierrot collar that forms a flower with numerous petals, where a “duvet” dress stands alongside a dancer’s dress with multiple sheets of tulle, pierced with holes…focus: on crystals that form the word “love” or are laid out like constellations. to note: the endlessly reinterpreted suit, like a vest that splits or the blouse collar that is made of multiple layers. music from the show (only for use in context of this report, under cover of the right to information)
