Artistic Director : Massimo GiorgettiInspiration: “Heartbreaker”, a film narrating a day like a fairy-tale set in Milan’s streets.Collection: A collection reflecting the 80s with a short silhouette, balloon sleeves, leggings, flashes of colours and patterns with optical illusion effects. The heart (sometimes broken) is printed all over bubble dresses or cut out on knitted jumpers. Multi-coloured oversized coats envelop the young lovers. Leather is also omnipresent in the form of trousers and mini dresses. A touch of romance with roses that adorn big quilted coats. A sartorial spirit revisited through a poorly buttoned up big jacket with checks on the back.Note:Colourful futuristic trainers zipped to the ankle with notched soles.Interview with Massimo Giorgetti:It’s really like a movie this season, this collection and it’s almost like it could be a movie, it could be also a cartoon, It could be an 80s movie on the streets of Milan, but it could be a cartoon like Alice in Wonderland in 2019, and in the ends it MSGM. I played a lot in this collection; I had a lot of fun. We created the title the “spezzare il cuore” heartbreaker, and we created title for the beginning we created title for the end. It’s really like a movie but always in a playful, joyful way. You can have fun and you can do experiments, for example, this collection is a little bit more, more younger women and less younger young girl, you know what I mean. So, the finale is with 4 cocktail dresses, but always easy to wear, easy to, easy to think. I think it’s very very MSGM and I’m happy.
